      Maths and how things work, from a very early age.
      Specifically bioinformatics and systems biology was when I was 27.

      Probably about 19-20.

      Em, it was a gradual thing actually. I liked science in school, but I only got interested in biology when I did it in university. Then I got interested in genetics – so I didn’t always know I was going to be a research scientist.

      I started this project when I was 25……I was always interested in science though!

      Science in general, when I was still at school. Cancer and DNA damage when I was in my final year at uni.
