No, I’m not religious, I consider myself agnostic. So I have no issues with scientific theories like the big bang.

      Hey tessa,

I was brought up catholic, but this doesn’t effect my understanding of things like the big bang or evolution! I go with the theory that has the most evidence!! Evolution has a ridiculous about of research to back it up, there is no doubt in my mind that this is what happened!
The big bang theory is a bit funny though….when you really think about it……a big bang from a cloud of dust…..god……flying spaghetti monster…..it’s something that we can theorise about but none of us will actually know what happened at the start of the universe!!!

I’m a christian. I think there is not a conflict between science and religion, they are just different ways of making sense of the world we live in.

For example. I believe the Big Bang happened. I also believe that it was the mechanism God used to create the universe.

      Hi Tessa,
I am Catholic and I know lots of scientists who are too and it’s fine. Even my lecturer in University, who taught us evolution reads out the readings at our local Mass. I reckon there is room enough in the world for us all to coexist!
