• Question: do you think its more important to help future generations to find out stuff, e.g. by spending the money on helping younger students to learn, or to try and work it out yourself quickly, e.g. spend the money on equipment for you?

Both thinks are important, as is making sure that people like you in schools are interested in learning and see what future application there are of what you learn.

      Hey tessa,

if you are talking about the £500 prize money…..then it is really important for us to use it to promote science! £500 really wouldn’t go far in a lab anyway….for my project I need about £1500 a month to keep it going!

Definitely – I think it’s really important. There is no point in us scientists in finding out stuff now, if no one comes along and wants to or is interested in building on what we know now to find out more in the future, and using it to benefit society. I think it’s really important!!
