I think they shouldn’t be linked. However, in some religions some totally unscientific things are taught as “facts” and to re-educate people, I think science should be involved in religion, but not really vice-versa.
not really, science is about understanding the natural world and how it works. Religion provides a belief structure to help us understand our place in the world…..I don’t think that you can only do one or the other though!!
Albert Einstein thought they were linked, as he once said ‘Religion without science is blind, but science without religion is lame’, implying that one cannot be correct without the other being incorporated into it.
I highly disagree which your answers. In fact I believe that they should be linked and science should be superseded by religion. So religion should be supported by science, not supported. And I highly disagree with the phrase “re-educated”, with that phrase you are assuming that sciences are correct, when they may not be “facts” themselves. They are theories based upon theories, I admit that some theories are quite good, but are still theories.
Yes I know I’ve ranted, this is my view.
I do agree with you that there is a link between religion and science! One can say that science is it’s own kind of religion since it is a belief, and even though you can “prove” it, one can also “prove” religious facts – the bible must hold some truth in it, for so many people to follow it. And instead of having a bible, science simply has archives all over the world that contain research and information.
Our life is made up of theories… sad really, isn’t it?

Most of the greatest scientists in the history of the world were religious – surely that must mean something!
