      Hi Gareth,

My background definitely helps my work. I studied Biochemistry, which looks in details at all the different building blocks and processes that come together to make living thing (humans etc) work. Without knowing this, I wouldn’t really be able to do any sort of medical research.

I studied Chemistry, Biology and Maths at A level (all of which I still use day to day in the lab) and Economcis (which I don’t really use, apart from helping to budget for the equipment and reagens I need!)

      Kay
