• Question: does your research include the effects of high cholesteral on insulin dependent diabetics?

      Hey mnottag,

      great chatting with you yesterday! At the moment my stuff isn’t. But at the end of the year I am moving to Australia to start a new project looking at the effects of cholesterol on the blood vessels (atherosclerosis) and a LOT of that is going to be looking at how it all happens in diabetics! It’s really sucky that with everything else you also have to worry about cholesterol……but new treatments are coming out all the time…I even saw a paper on gene therapy for insulin dependent diabetes so watch this space!!!
