• Question: Have you had to sacrfice things to dedicate your life to science?

      I think whatever anyone does, they have to make choices. But no, I don’t really think I’ve sacrified things to be involved in science research. Being a scientist is a job that we are interested in and involves a lot of thought, and ideas maybe come to you about how you might solve a particular problem at anytime. Whereas if I had a less interesting job, say as an accountant or working in shop, then come the end of the working day, I expect I wouldn’t think about anything work related outside of work at all.
