Yep! In some genetics research that I just did, I found out three genes that are related to how our blood clots – no one has found this out before so it’s new!! and it may be important to help people with diseases where their blood doesn’t clot properly, like stroke or deep vein thrombosis (you know why people wear those funny tight stockings on long-haul flights) if your blood clots too much, or haemophilia where your blood doesn’t clot properly – so if you cut your finger and it doesn’t stop bleeding. So, we are exctied about that discovery here!
