Hey sesquipedalianist,
well I thought it looked very pretty……but the story line was really poor! Considering how much money it took to make you’d think that Cameron could get a decent NEW story line!! It was really REALLY cheesy!
BUT I will give you that it was pretty and the 3D was VERY cool….especially the flying scene!

Camerons ex-wife made an awesome indy film, Hurt Locker, oscar winning, non pretentious awesomeness!!

I agree that Avatar was an amazing movie – graphic wise. But the plot was one of the cheesiest ever – it was way too predictable! And if not for the graphics I would have left the cinema out of boredom. I especially didn’t like the fact that that commander – the bad guy – was able to stay outside for more than 4 minutes! He was supposed to be asphyxiated! Hollywood just took cheesy to a whole new level.
Movies these days aren’t even educating anymore – it’s all about entertainment and about how much money one can earn on a movie. To be honest, I’m a bit disappointed.

violence all the way that was by far the best bit in the film . same the blue guys didn’t all die though
