      Probably to discover how the first molecules of RNA were formed on earth, thus giving rise to life.

      A vaccine against HIV (and so stopping AIDs spreading). I spent a summer in Kenya working with AIDs patients and found it very very sad seeing the effect of this terrible disease

      Hi Timrichards,

      I’d stop my experiments not working!!! If I could solve ANY scientific problem……well I would want to solve why the cholesterol that is in our blood sticks to the vessel walls and causes so many problems, cholesterol is essential for life, but having it in our blood is a real liability!
