Question: if you had 1000000 pounds would you help the homeless or spend it on a cure for cancer?

  Both. I’d build some homeless shelters, and build a new cancer research institute. then I’d employ the homeless people from my shelter as support staff in the research centre (maybe not as scientists, not unless they had science degrees) so hopefully they would eventually be able to move out of the shelter and afford their own rent
