Question: Other scientistswould use the money to invite students to look round the labs. whats unique about why you need it?

Would they? From what I’ve read, I thought they were going to come and talk to classes, go to conferences and teach students. Personally, I don’t really need it. I want to do it. I want students to come and see and experience for themselves what it’s like doing research, how to apply for jobs in research etc. For me I’d just be happy if the students enjoyed it, asked a lot of questions and maybe become a bit more interested in science. 🙂
