      Structurally, all DNA is the same in all organisms. A lot of genes will be the same between humans and yeast, as they will code for genes important for basic cellular processes. It’s believed that about 20% of human genes linked to diseases have counterparts in yeast.

      Hey julia,

      there are lots of differences and similarities between the genomes of all life on earth!! The one over riding similarity is that they are all made up of the same nucleotides!
