      Hi Sylvie,

      besides me?? Umm Rosalind Franklin was pretty special….she did all the leg work for the discovery of the structure of DNA…..also Barry Marshall and Robin Warren, these guys won the Nobel prize in 2005 (?) for discovering that stomach ulcers were caused by helicobacter infection,…..they famously drunk a whole batch of the bacteria to give themselves stomach ulcers to prove that it was that and not stress…..pretty amazing…and disgusting stuff!

      Marie Curie. She was one of the first ground-breaking female scientists, and won a Nobel prize. She essentially discovered radioactivity.
