• Question: would you do an experiment on your kids because it sounded like it on the chat room

      Hey mishmish,

      Having kids is the ULTIMATE genetics experiment!! That’s the great thing about reproduction, it mixes two sets of chromosomes in completely new and exciting ways. It’s awesome to see what features they got from each of us and how they are also completely unique! If you are talking about actually performing experiments on them well It depends what you mean by experiment? Weaning is pretty experimental….trying to find out what foods they like, what textures! Teaching is also experimental…life is one big experiment!

    The actual question was probably whether you would perform scientific experiments on your children, although that’s a bit of a weird question to ask since no parent would do such a thing.

    Actually my mum (who is a psychologist) used to do experiments on me when I was little! But those experiments aren’t usually painful or bad for you – they’re more like tests you give children to find out more about how they think.
