      Yes. It’ll be run in China (and it won’t be online).
      I’ve been to China before, and found the internet to be quite slow.
      This can be a problem when trying to access large databases and move large files.

      In the UK, the broadband infrastructure is good and there’s superfast links between universities and other research institutes, which are neccessary for the huge (tetrabyte) data sets routinuely generated.
